DEMAC is pleased to share a grant opportunity by Aseel Technology, a tech for good platform, established by the Afghan Diaspora.
Aseel Technology featured in TechCrunch, NPR, TIME, BBC, PBS and more, is offering a limited amount of grants for $250,000 worth of support services to use their newly launched Aid Operating System (AidOS) to selected non profits and NGOS, which enables fundraising and direct aid distribution.
Since 2021, Aseel has directly supported more than 600,000 people with emergency food, winter support, hygiene kits, and more — even in hard-to-reach areas across Afghanistan and Turkiye. Through its AidOS platform, Aseel digitized the entire humanitarian supply chain — from fundraising and vendor management to real-time distribution tracking. And through its Buy Good marketplace, it enabled hundreds of artisans to sell handmade products globally.
Trusted by groups like USAID, Save the Children, Humaniti, Vitol Foundation, and DEMAC, Aseel has demonstrated its ability to deliver high-impact, tech-enabled humanitarian and development solutions.

Who is Aseel?
Aseel means Authentic, Original in Pashto, Dari, and several other languages. In 2018, Aseel started as a tech-driven solutions provider headquartered in Washington, DC and founded by Nasrat Khalid, an Afghan Diaspora member, based in the US. Aseel’s journey began with a commitment to uplift artisans and underserved communities in Afghanistan and Turkey.
Aseel foresees onboarding all 46 underdeveloped countries to the digital economy, paving the way to connect three billion people being excluded from active participation in the digital economy. Aseels team remains steadfast in delivering sustainable and innovative ideas that serve a broader audience, yielding a more substantial impact.
Aseel's Do Good Platform

It offers global users various options, from donating emergency packages, launching or exploring the latest Campaigns and Grand Challenge, to allowing Aseel to decide. The latest update, DirectAid beta, introduces a three-in-one approach: Send Aid, Track Aid, and Receive a Video, aiming to make aid delivery more transparent, engaging, and impactful. Through partnerships with reputable organizations and Atalan Network, we deliver crucial humanitarian assistance to vulnerable Afghan families and individuals with registered Omid IDs.
